CDL A Delivery Driver - SYGMA - Columbus, OH

To serve our customers by safely and efficiently transporting product from the warehouse by driving a tractor trailer to various customers and properly delivering and unloading product according to customer invoices and company standards. Responsibilities include unloading product from trailer by hand or hand cart, ensuring paperwork completion according to company and governmental guidelines, meeting food safety protocols, maintaining sanitary conditions, developing good customer relationships, and other duties assigned by management. Requires a high school diploma/GED or equivalent, 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience, valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License, and knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe delivery practices. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 350 pounds with a hand cart, climbing in and out of tractor and trailer, and working in various weather conditions. Work environment includes exposure to wet, hot, cold, humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, confined spaces, and occasional high places and fumes. Schedule includes overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, overtime, and variable start times.
